Pictures of the South Georgia...

These are a few random pictures I took while we were in Georgia. I have always loved Georgia and the southern lifestyle there. My favorite thing to photography, other than my kids, are things that portray that lifestyle. Hope you enjoy!!
My parents pond and a goose that can not fly, so he stays by himself until the other geese come back.
My mom and dad
Utility Vehicles, large ones and small ones!

Lily pads in the pond at Jason's family farm.

Lamp post at Jason's family farm.

South Georgia swamp!!!
Palmetto Bushes everywhere!

Spanish Moss hanging in trees.

We were riding around the farm when I spotted these beautiful 2 red "hearts" just waiting for me to take their picture!

Farm equipment, of course!!!!

Rifle shooting.

Mary Elizabeth shooting

Harper shooting

Harrison shooting

Pine trees, LOTS of tall pine trees!

And no southern day would not be complete without little boys in Camouflage trying to climb trees!

Christmas pictures, finally!!

Christmas has come and gone once again!! This year has been my favorite Christmas for many reasons, but the main one is that we slowed down to enjoy just being a family.
We usually travel to GA to be with our families for Christmas, but this year I had surgery (I am fine, just something that needed to be done!) right before Christmas and was unable to travel until after. So we had our first Christmas at home as a family!
We went to our Church's Christmas Eve service and then went riding around looking for Christmas lights.
We made rice crispy treats.

Jason grilled ribs.

Enjoying the good food Jason prepared! He took great care of me!

We allowed the kids to open one present before they went to bed.

As you can tell they liked it!!

Christmas PJ's

Christmas Morning, the kids opened presents.

Lucinda Bell opened her presents too!

Dixie and Shelby waiting on their stockings.

The kids got roller skates and it has been so funny watching them learn how to skate!

Lucinda Bell is worn out from all the excitement.

We went down to south GA to visit family after Christmas and had a wonderful time. The kids always get spoiled by their grandparents!!

They got cameras for Christmas and it has been fun teaching them about photography! Mary Elizabeth may be a photographer!!

Jumping on their cousin RayLee's new trampoline!
These are all 5 of my parents grandchildren.

My family

My mom got the girls Cabbage patch dolls.

And no trip to south GA would be complete without fun in the Tire Swing!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
Happy New Year!!

Busy Saturday

We had a busy weekend enjoying our wonderful community! Our small town had a great Christmas Parade (Po-rade, as Harrison says) and the kids got more candy than they have in stores!!

This is the loot from the parade; candy, toys, stuffed animals, etc. I have never seen so many nice things given out at a parade.
Jason's Uncle brought the kids a go-cart that his son out grew. It is still too big for the kids, but not for the big kid Jason!!! Jason had the best time riding the kids around. My mom and dad were here visiting as well as Jason's grandmother.

Harrison enjoying his new equipment.
Mary Elizabeth not happy that the helmet is messing up her hair bow!
Harper is her helmet that is WAY TO BIG!!

Harrison wanting to drive by himself!

Jason and Harrison covered in mud.

Harper and Daddy speeding by!!

Santa came through our neighborhood on the firetruck passing out candy.

Just what we needed more candy!!

My Dad riding the tractor, LOL!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend too.
