Family Christmas Pictures

If you have ever tried to take a picture of 3 kids, 2 dogs, and one husband that hates to have his picture made you know that it is next to impossible to get a good family picture!!
We did family Christmas pictures yesterday for our Christmas cards this year and actually got some pretty good ones (after we kicked the dogs out of the picture and told the kids they could have candy)! These are a few good ones, minus the one we are using for our Christmas card, you will have to wait for Christmas to see that one!!
I just got the girls Christmas dresses on Saturday and just love them, especially the BIG green bows!
This one below has the dogs in it and you can see they were not cooperating!

Hope you enjoyed our Christmas Card Photo Preview!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Pre-School Thanksgiving Program

The kids' Pre-school had their Thanksgiving program today, and they were TOO CUTE!!! Harrison and Mary Elizabeth's class were Pilgrims and Harper's class were Indians. Everyone said that Harper was the only one that looked like a Indian! They all did so well, the girls sang all the songs and did all the motions. Harrison did not sing one song or do one motion, but he still looked cute!!

After all the singing the kids were released by classes and the others had to wait their turn. Harper saw this open stage with nothing going on and she decided to dance for everyone. You can see her in the picture below with her back to me. Mary Elizabeth is in the center to the left of the little boy sitting down and Harrison is right behind the little boy sitting down.
After the program we went back to their classes and got to see art work and pictures displayed. The kids were rewarded with cookies and chips!
Pilgrim Mary Elizabeth enjoying her snack!
Indian Harper saying cheese!
Pilgrim Harrison showing me his art work!

I am so proud of my 3 little turkeys!!!

Weekend in the Mountains

The kids and I spent a weekend with my Mom, Sisters, Niece, and Nephew in Cleveland, GA. We stayed at my Mom and Dad's place in the mountains and enjoyed the last leaves on the trees. It was beautiful and very cold, but the cold weather did not stop us from having a good time.

The kids camped out in sleeping bags on the floor! Let's just say that when you put 5 kids under 6 years old in a small place you get LOTS of noise!!! So much noise that the neighbor thought Mom and Dad were remolding the house! It was great watching them play together.

Mary Elizabeth, RayLee (2), Ethan (6), Harper, and Harrison

Alli, me, and Angie (my sisters)

We went to Helen, GA and all the kids were fascinated with the dancing Santa. Can you believe we went out with this mob of kids!!!

Look at the 4 kids trying to get money out of the fountain! I wonder who they belong too?

This was the only picture I took of my three all weekend, what is wrong with me!!

My cute nephew waiting so patiently while his Mom was shopping!

The old courthouse in downtown Cleveland, GA.

Some of my favorite things to photograph is old barns and country churches. Here are just a few that we saw this weekend. And yes, we just about caused many wrecks by pulling over quickly to take a picture!!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed visiting with family. Thanks Mom for the great weekend and hope you enjoyed playing with all your grandchildren!

3 Years with Harrison

Three years ago today Jack Harrison Glas was placed in our arms.
He was just a few days short of being 6 months old. He was the cutest baby boy we had ever laid our eye on and were instantly in love!
The first picture we got of Harrison he was just 4 weeks old.
On day one he was a Daddy's boy!
This picture is just 2 minutes after being placed in Jay's arms.
1 hour later the boys are already watching football!
After his first bath (that we had given him).

Shopping in Guatemala City
Getting ready to meet Mary Elizabeth for the first time.
Bother and Sister's first night together!
And yes, I already had them matching!!!!
One very proud Daddy to be finally holding both of his babies!

Getting to know each other.
Learning how to feed two babies at one time! I had never made a bottle before this, I am a fast learner!!
Harrison's Embassy Day! We got his Passport and Visa so he can go home to the US.
We said good bye to Mary Elizabeth (hardest thing I have ever had to do, but we were back in 2 months to get her) and to Guatemala.
Boarded a plane bound for USA!
This is what he did the whole trip!
Just a few days later Jay had him hunting!!
Harrison is the sweetest boy! He is very considerate for people even at 3 years old. I could not image our family with out him in it! I am so thankful that God chose us to be this precious little boy's parents!
Happy Gotcha Day Harrison!!
