Kids lots of Kids.......

Jason's step-brother and his family came to visit this weekend.
They have 3 wonderful children, so combined with ours we had 6 kids under the age of 7 years old. We had lots of fun!! I am glad they were here for the birthday party too.
Wes, Baby Alli, and Jay
Keri and I
It only took 200 pictures to get a picture of all the kids looking us at the same time!
Justin (3), Mary Elizabeth, Alli (5 months), Kaitlyn (7), Harrison, and Harper
Playing in the leaves with the Daddies
All 5 in one car!!!
We had a great weekend with all the kids!!

Birthday Party!!

Well I was right, Jason planned a surprise birthday party for me and it was so much fun!
I was very impressed that he thought of all the details, even bought napkins with 30 on them (see picture above). Many of our friends and their children came (we had 16 kids in our house and 6 of them were 3 year olds!!!!). Everyone seem to have a great time and all the food Jay prepared was wonderful!

Jay ordered the most beautiful and delicious cake from a local bakery. It was called the Pink Southern Lady (very fitting for me)!
Jay set up a tent outside filled it with balloons for the kids to play in and also had a bonfire for roasting marsh mellows.

The kids loved rolling down our hill in the leaves!
Thanks to everyone that came and made my 30th birthday special! We have only been in this community for 4 months, but have already made wonderful friends.
Thanks Jay for the wonderful surprise party!!! You are a wonderful husband and my Best Friend!!

Birthday surprise update

Remember that Jay has not giving me my present or cake yet! Well I think something is going on this weekend (maybe a party!!!!) because he has been cleaning around the house, he was unloading bags out of his truck, and he and our friends have been quietly talking. We'll see, hope to let you know soon!

Favorite Foto Friday - Family Fotos

Favorite Friday Fotos theme this week is Family Fotos. This was a fun post because I can look to see how fast the kids have grown, and how many different hair styles I have had! There was NO WAY I could just pick one favorite, so I thought I would just show you several of how our family has grown from 2 people to 5 in just 3 years. Hope you enjoy!
Waiting on kids (too many years!!)
First family photo in Guatemala with Harrison and Mary Elizabeth.
Harrison got to come home with us this trip, but Mary Elizabeth had to wait 2 more months (hardest thing I have ever had to do is leave my child behind).

My kids sing in the Choir???????

I was so surprised on Tuesday when a friend told me that the kids were singing Wednesday night. They have a pre-school choir that practices on Wednesdays and I did not even know that my kids were in it!!! They were so cute last night (sang about 5 songs). The girls did great and sang all the songs and did most of the motions, Harrison on the other hand played on the steps and made faces at everyone.
I tried to point them out in the picture below, but they are the only ones with dark hair and dark skin in the choir!!

The Big 3-0!!!

It is official!!! I am no longer in my 20's! I turned 30 years old yesterday!

Jason and the kids took me to my favorite restaurant last night.

The kids picked out presents and cards for me all by themselves. Harper and Harrison got me picture frames, and Mary Elizabeth got me 3 candles. I have been wanting a new camera, so Jason thought it would be funny to get me a plastic toy one!

I go to a Women's Bible study on Tuesday mornings while the kids are in school. The SWEET ladies in the class had desserts and gifts for me.

We enjoyed the cakes, that a friend from Bible study got me, last night after our dinner.

This past weekend we spent time with family in Georgia. My nephew, Ethan, turned 6 years old on Monday, I turned 30 yesterday, and my sister, Angie, turns 32 today! My sister and I have always celebrated our birthdays together. As kids we had our parties together, so as adults we still like to have cake together!

Thanks Mom and Dad for the cash!!
Jason was being really strange yesterday, I think he is up to something! He only gave me a card and took me out to dinner. No gift, No cake - this has never happened before! He just says wait your birthday is not over yet! So, not sure what he is up to, but will let you know!!
Happy 32nd Birthday Angie! So glad God made us sisters!
