11 months old...

Well I am 11 months old now, WOW time flies!!

I am one happy, hungry, and energetic little boy!

I have 7 teeth now, I eat anything that is put in front of me (and even a few things I find on the floor). I am just a little peanut only weighing 17 pounds. But boy do I like to be on the MOVE! I try to keep up with my big brother and sisters, and they love playing with me. I am usually into something that I shouldn't be, but I am so cute that I get away with everything!

I am so excited about my first Christmas! I have already unwrapped several Christmas presents, and removed most of the bows and name tags (Mommy doesn't know who they belong to now)!

I am enjoying my last month of infancy, and looking forward to my 1st Birthday after Christmas!

I am learning how everything works...

I have figured out that I can take anything with me if I carry it in my mouth when I crawl!

(Maybe I have been watching the dogs too much)

I made my first Ginger Bread House with help.

I can stand by myself for a few seconds, but NO first steps yet!

I had my first lollipop and LOVED IT!!!

I got to share it with my favorite people in the world!!

Can't wait for all the adventures I will do as an 1 year old!!!

I can't believe that Bowen is already 9 months old!!

With the weather cooling off I decided it was time to bring out the boxes of boy baby clothes of Harrison's to see what would fit Bowen. Since Harrison and Mary Elizabeth were our first children home I knew that myself, family, and friends went a little over board buying clothes for them.

But I found out today just how OVERBOARD we went!!!

I counted 41 size 12 months boy pants!

YES, 41 pants all size 12 months for a boy and that does not include overalls or pants that are part of a set.

What baby boy needs 41 pair of pants??

I know we were excited about finally having a baby in our home, but I could not believe Harrison had 41 pair of pants.

I don't think I will be buying Bowen any more clothes!!! (OK, we all know that is NOT true!)

You can only imagine how many baby clothes Mary Elizabeth had being a girl!!!

Why can't I get anything accomplished?????

Mary Elizabeth has always been very independent and strong willed. Now that she is older I give her more and more chances to make decisions for herself. She told me that she did not want to dress like Harper anymore, so I dress them differently most of the time (except I get my way sometimes!). Also she wants to pick out her own clothes, however she does not really know if something matches or not. This has been hard for me because I LOVE LOVE LOVE dressing my kids in cute clothes.

Sorry Mary Elizabeth, but I think Mama will re-dress you before we go to church tonight!!!

I am one BUSY boy!!!

I love to empty the kitchen cabinets and drawers, climb the stairs, get in my brother and sister's toys, crawl in FAST speed, eat, eat, and eat some more, talk VERY loudly, and make everyone laugh! The only thing I don't like to do is SLEEP, I can't miss anything!!!

Bowen was eating a teething biscuit when a couple of pieces broke off and he looked like he had two BIG front teeth, it was so funny!!!

We always called Mary Elizabeth our little trouble maker, now we call Bowen TROUBLE MAKER #2!! He is so much fun!!!!

I know it has been too long since I have posted. The kids are growing so fast and changing everyday! We have had alot going on, so Blogging has not been a priority in my life right now!!

I started homeschooling the kids (Kindergarten) and that is going GREAT! I love having them home with me and they soak up everything like little sponges. They enjoying having school and they would do it everyday, even Saturdays! I LOVE these little guys sooooo much!!!

Harrison is enjoying being a BIG brother and sharing a room with Bowen. The first night Harrison said he stayed up most the night watching Bowen sleep because he was so excited!

Mary Elizabeth has always been our independent child and now I feel like I have a 15 year old in the house not a 5 year old!! But she is just excelling in her school work and is already moving on to 1st grade math. She also started reading small books.

Harper of course is still the happy child she has always been! She is my big helper when it comes to Bowen, we call her "little Mama". She will do anything for Bowen - which has caused him to become VERY spoiled!

Bowen had his first trip to the park and Harrison pushed him in the swing...

as you can see he LOVED it!

Bowen changes so fast. He is VERY active!!! He pulls up on everything, crawls very fast, eats constantly, talks loudly and non-stop, said his first word "Mama"! He is so much fun and brings back so many memories of Harrison and Mary Elizabeth when they were this age. He keeps me so busy, I do not know how I did it with 2 this age back then!!!

Thought I needed to post his 7 month pictures since he turns 8 months tomorrow!!

3 Years with a Brazilian Princess

I am so far behind with Blogging that there is no way to update you on everything, the blog would probably shut down from picture overload, LOL! So here is a short update on the kids since I know you only visit this sight to see them!!

Harper

Has now lost 2 bottom teeth!!

She is still my BIG helper and loves to change Bowen's diapers.

She always brings a smile to every one's face!

Mary Elizabeth

Turned 5 years old!!! Where did time go?

She also started learning to read!

She acts so grown up now, but assures us she will always be "baby girl"!

Harrison

No longer has a mohawk!!!

Also, has moved up to the (big kid) yellow belt class in Taekwondo.

His smile also still melts his Mommy's heart!

Is now 6 months old!! Boy time flies!

An Update on us...

The Glas family is still here and very busy!!

My laptop memory is full so I have not been able to do anything with my blog.

I decided to use my husband's computer to give a quick update on what our family has been up to lately. Most things will be coming to an end for the summer in May (Ballet, Taekwondo, and T-Ball). I will not know what to do with all that free time!! We are doing wonderful and the kids are growing like little weeds!

Bowen had his first road trip to Georgia to visit family.

He did great in the car, but then he has lots of entertainment back there!!!

We spent Easter with our families and Bowen got to meet some family he had not met yet.

Ok, I know I say this everytime, but I think I have the greatest kids in the World!!

BIG NEWS!!!

Harper lost her first tooth! However, we have no idea what happened to it.

Bowen took his first trip to the BEACH!!!

Jason had to work most of the time, so it was mostly just the kids and I. We did good considering not knowing what I needed for a baby on the beach!!!

Yes, I did keep him out of the sun!!!

We LOVE the beach!!

This trip Mary Elizabeth got stung by a jellyfish, but that did not slow her down from having fun.

Harrison says that they "change colors" in the summer. He wants to know when Bowen is going to "change colors" too!

Harrison has been in the Little Tiger Taekwondo (ages 4-6 years old) for the past year and was honored on Monday by getting his black belt!

Once he gets 3 tips on this belt he will be able to move up to the regular Taekwondo classes at only 4 years old!! We are so proud of our Big Man!!!

All of a sudden they look like BIG kids!!

Harrison started T-Ball. He is doing wonderful and is very serious about it, as you can see in the picture below. His first game is the end of the month.

Harper turns 6 years old this month and has a "teenager attitude"!!

She is still my happy girl though.

Mary Elizabeth informed me that she no longer wants to match Harper with her clothes. Mommy is having a hard time with this!!!!

I love this age!!! If only they could stay this size forever!

Little time for Blogging these days...

We are still here and doing great!! I have just had little time for Blogging, taking pictures, sleeping, showering, or eating these days!!! Bowen is wonderful and has just fit right in with our already busy schedule. My three BIG helpers are doing great too and loving their baby brother.

Weeks 3 and 4 have been filled with little sleep and lots of feeding - so no laundry has been done, or cooking, or cleaning - but we have enjoyed these big bright eyes more and more everyday!

Even though I am exhausted most days, I am daily reminded how blessed I am! February is a very emotional month for me as it is when Jason and I first started trying to have children, 7 years ago! However this year I am emotional in a different way! I am overwhelmed that not only has God brought the three cutest Latinos into our home and given us the privilege to be their parents forever, but now God has given us the opportunity to bring life into this world. I am blessed that God has brought us through hardship and grief so that we can understand the miracle of life and what truly makes a family!! The number one question people ask me is "Did you feel differently about Bowen coming than you did the the other 3?" I must honestly say that the morning I was laying in the hospital bed I felt exactly the same as I did when I was riding on those airplanes. The only thing I was thinking was I get hold my son today! (Also, the labor was shorter than those plane rides too!!)

What a precious gift it is to be a mother!!!!

I just want to enjoy every second of it - even if that means little sleep, no clean house, or days without a shower!

The girls still think Bowen is a baby doll and do not like to hear him cry. I overheard Harrison talking to Bowen the other day and he said, "I am so glad you are here, I always wanted a brother to play with."

Bowen experienced his first little photo shoot today (guess he needs to get use to that)! He is wonderful, eats great, never cries, and sleeps so well. I have been getting 8-9 hours of sleep each night – he is too easy! But, I have been feeling so good that am doing way too much. We are so thankful to have family and friends come over to help. Jason has had to make me stop and rest! I am stubborn and feel like I need to do everything myself instead of letting others help but it caught up with me yesterday. I did master breastfeeding and brushing my teeth at the same time!!!!

The other 3 just think he is the greatest thing in the world! We have to set timers so everyone holds him equally, everyone has a diaper changing job, and he gets more kisses than I can count. Harrison thinks he looks just like him and wants to know when he will be ready for bunk beds. The girls want to change his clothes every 5 minutes and brush his hair every time it gets messed up. What a blessing to have the greatest children in the world!!

January 9th, 2005 we traveled to Guatemala for the 2nd time to bring home our precious little princess. I can not believe that was 4 years ago!!! Mary Elizabeth bring our family much joy and laughter, we are so thankful that God chose us to be this child's parents!

We are home now and enjoying being a family of 6.

my whole pregnancy, labor and delivery, and home coming was a wonderful experience and what a blessing Bowen has been to our family.

I was scheduled to be at the hospital at 6am on January 5th to be induced.

When I got there I was already 4 cm dialated and 80 % effaced.

They got me hooked up to everything and broke my water at 7:30am then recieved my epidural at 8:30am. I took a short nap and the doctor came in at 10am to check me and said it was time to have a baby! I was already 10 cm.

After pushing for 40 minutes, Bowen Henry was born!!

My total time in labor was 3 hours 45 minutes, it was so easy that I slept through most of it!!

People have told me not to tell too many women that!!!

Jason bragged that I did not even mess up my hair and make-up!!

The kids are so excited to have thier brother home! They are asking every 5 minutes if they can hold him. I am so blessed to have these 4 children!!

I am so thankful for everything God has done for our family!

Bowen made it home yesterday just in time for the big championship game!

I have had many phone calls and emails wondering what is going on with us, thanks for being concerned!! We are fine, lets just say I have been very tired and uncomfortable lately!!!

And Bowen is growing...

I have been 2 cm and 50% effaced for 3 weeks now, so that is frustrating!!! At my doctors appointment yesterday everything looked good and I have gained a total of 21 pounds. They are still saying Bowen could come any day and if he is not here by Jan 5th they are going to induce me that morning, at least we have an ending point now!!

Ready or Not...

Ready or Not, we are on the final countdown now!!

A lady in our church made this beautiful bow for my hospital door and then mailbox.

We have cradle together, the car seat installed, everything washed, closets reorganized, pantry stocked, and bags packed!! At my Dr. appointment this week I was already 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced, which I know does not mean Bowen is coming tomorrow, but scared me enough to get ready just in case!!!

The kids and Jason are hoping for a Christmas Baby.

Catch Up Post (Pregnancy Pictures, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Tree)...

This is a catch up post!!!

Since we did not travel home this Thanksgiving some of our family came in shifts. We had a wonderful time with everyone and we are so thankful for the company! But I have been completely wiped out since everyone left, I hear that happens when you are in your 8th month of pregnancy!!

So, first are some pregnancy pictures to see how much Bowen is growing.

I am 34 weeks now and have gained a total of 19 pounds. Everything is going "perfect" and Bowen is doing wonderful. But then again how could I ever complain about anything! My favorite thing about the pregnancy so far is that Bowen goes crazy everytime he hears his Daddy's voice!!

Thanksgiving was wonderful and enjoyed having people in our home. I did very little cooking and cleaning, so that made it even nicer!! We also went Christmas tree shopping and got that decorated - Just incase Bowen wants to come early!!

We have so many things to be thankful for this year, it is some times overwhelming to me how Great our God is to us!!

Yesterday we celebrated Harrison's Gotcha Day!

We eat cupcakes and tell the story of how God brought each child to our family on their Gotcha Day. Harrison can tell you his story himself now, but he loves to hear about Guatemala and all the things we did on the day God blessed us with our first child!

We had a bitter/sweet time at the Trunk or Treat this year held by our church.

Harrison and Mary Elizabeth had a wonderful time and looked so cute, however poor Harper was sick and unable to dress up in her costume. I was going to stay home with Harper, but was called to bring somethings to the church. So, we let Harper look around so she would not miss out on everything. Some friends that took Harrison and Mary Elizabeth around also filled up a bucket of candy for Harper. I was happy to be able to get some pictures of the event!

Our Sunday School class choose to decorate a car with the theme of Daniel and the lion's den. So, we used Jason's truck as our den, Jason as Daniel (since he is the teacher), and Dixie and Shelby as the lions. I called it the "Redneck" Daniel and the Lion's den!!!

So, this year not only did I have to get 3 costumes for kids, I also had to make Jason and the dogs costumes (all while being and FEELING 7 months pregnant)! Just part of the many blessings of being a mother!

3rd Trimester here we come...

Here is a look at how fast Bowen has been growing these last 5 weeks.

As my 2nd trimester comes to an end, I have no complaints! Everything about this pregnancy has been wonderful. My doctor asked me if being pregnant was everything I thought it would be and of course I said it is better! I really had no idea what to expect or how my body would handle carrying a child, but I must say that I wake up everyday praising God for his marvelous work! What a blessing to be able to experience the adoption process (3 times and hopefully again in the future!) and pregnancy (hopefully again as well!). They are completely different, but both so wonderful! I love seeing how excited the kids get when they hear Bowen's heartbeat, and how they love to tell everyone about their baby brother. Our family is a miracle and only God could have placed these 4 children into our family!

At my doctor's appointment today, everything was good. I gained 5 more pounds, so that makes my total weight gain 18 pounds!!

We had the chance to take a short trip to the North Georgia Mountains to visit Jason's Mom and Step dad. Last weekend was the Georgia Marble Festival, so we got to enjoy a full weekend of fun. Jason walked in the Walk-a-thon with his Mom, we watch a great parade and got lots of candy, went to the festival and ate great food, the kids played games and we even brought home a new pet (that I won!). People ask all the time if Harrison and Mary Elizabeth are twins. Even though they are not biologically, they are very much so emotionally! They have been together since they were 6 months old, and it is amazing the way that they have bonded to each other. They prefer to never be separated, do so many things the same, play mostly with each other (except they let Harper in on the fun!), they do not fight with each other, and they will tell you that they are twins if you ask them! I even think they look alike!!

I am so blessed to be the Mommy of these 3 little cuties!!

Harrison recieved a new Taekwondo Belt!

Harrison is in the Little Tiger's Taekwondo Program. He has to move from white belt to black belt in this program before he can move to the actual Taekwondo classes for the "Big Kids". It should take around a year to move through all the belts. He received his first new belt this week! We are so proud of him! His instructor calls him a little machine because he works so hard!

Pregnancy cravings means putting on the pounds...

At my last doctors appointment I stepped on to the scale thinking I would have gained maybe another pound or two! From the beginning of my pregnancy to the halfway mark I gained a total of 7 pounds. Then in the last 4 weeks I gained 6 more pounds!! The doctor said I need the extra weight since I am so small.

Want in on my weight gain secret... I have been craving Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls!

I was eating a box a day, yes that is right: 1 box everyday!

So, this month I decided to cut back to maybe 1-2 boxes a week!!

We are a very conservative family in all aspects, except when it comes to hair styles! I have always like to color my hair different colors and have different cuts. Many times I will do something crazy just to see how people respond! Jason always likes the different ways I fix my hair and to him the more colors at one time the better! So when it was time to give Harrison a haircut Jason and I like his hair cut short (mostly because it stands straight up on his head) and wanted it that way, but Harrison wanted it long. So we came to a compromise ...

I started as a joke, but then I though he just looked so cute with it that I decided to leave it! I will probably end up shaving it off, but I thought it would be fun to see people's reactions! We must be the craziest parents in the world giving their 4 year old son a mohawk, but hey we like to have fun!!

Harrison wanted me to give his Daddy a mohawk too, so just for a picture we spike up Jason's hair! Don't they look so tough!!

And of course I can not leave out my cute little girls!! Harper just did not understand why she could not have a mohawk like her brother.

So, here you go weeks 18-22 of my Pregnancy.

Everything is going so well! I could not have asked for an easier pregnancy (so far)! The kids are so excited and like to talk to Bowen anytime they are standing close to me. Harrison likes to tell everyone that he is getting a baby brother, but already wants to know when he will be 4 years old like him! Mary Elizabeth just wants to buy him every baby item we see! And Harper is telling everyone that he is coming tomorrow!

This is a very exciting time for everyone and many days I feel overjoyed with how God is giving us another miracle child!

Meet Bowen Henry, due in just 19 more weeks...

I have been meaning to scan this picture and post, but we have been very busy.

We had the ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and found out we are having a boy. It was a very exciting time for our family and an experience that will be in my mind forever! Harrison was very excited when the nurse told him he was getting a brother! He was smiling from ear to ear and the first thing he said was, "Yes! We can get bunk beds!". Harper was just so excited it was a baby she did not care if it was a boy or girl. Mary Elizabeth started crying right there in the ultrasound room! She thought that if it was a boy he would come out walking and playing with Harrison and she would not have anything to baby! So, after I convinced her that he would still be very small and he would need a big sister to help him she was OK. Bowen Henry is named after great-grandfathers on both my and Jason's side of the family.

I have done really well with not buying baby things, until now! It is very hard not to buy the cute little bitty clothes that I never got to buy with my other three. The kids are worse than me! They want to buy him everything, the girls even want to buy him PINK!

Jason said he feels the same as he did when we got our referrals for the kids. We have a picture (or somewhat one), a name, and are preparing for a child so lets go get him (or in this case for the 19 weeks to hurry up and pass)!

We can hardly wait to be able to hold our baby Bowen in our arms, and I have found that it is the exact same feeling no matter if you carry them in your belly or in your heart!

If you have followed this blog long you have read many post about games Jason makes up with the kids. Riding down the hill in a wagon or see-saw, sliding down the steps on a box, putting pillows in your shirts and knock each other down; these just name a few. One thing is true about Jason, he LOVES to play with his children!

But I am beginning to think that these games are getting a little too dangerous! Jason and the kids were out riding the go-cart and this is what I found...

Yes, that is Mary Elizabeth riding on top of the go-cart in an old car seat!! Jason said he did not have enough room for everyone so he strapped a seat to the top. When I started telling him how dangerous this was the kids said that it was OK because she had on her seat belt!

The kids think that their Daddy is the BEST, and even though he does all the dangerous and crazy things with them, I must agree!

The Glas children made some accomplishments this week and we wanted to share them with everyone!

Harrison has been practicing on his skateboard and is finally able to ride it down the driveway. Jason built him a little ramp, but he has not quite mastered that yet!!

The girls started dance class today, they are taking ballet and tap. They love tap, you can see below that they had to put the tap shoes on once we got home and practice more!!

They were the cutest little dancers! But Mary Elizabeth was not happy that her class has to wear blue leotards!

Harrison received his first strip on his taekwondo belt today! Once he gets 3, he can move up to a new color belt.

Way to go! Mommy and Daddy are very proud!

Jason works at the Gulf Coast a few days almost each week. Every once in a while we go down and play at the beach while he is hard at work! We had the opportunity to go down last week for a few days and just enjoy some relaxing time. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Our crazy life continues...

My oldest sister always says that the craziest things happen to our family! Either we get turned down by the Humane Society to adopt a cat because we have too many kids, or we have crazy illnesses, or have to visit the ER several times for accidents, or the fact that we have Poison Control on speed dial and have used it often! But for some reason we like to keep life interesting!

Here is how our week went:

Tuesday through Thursday spent time at the beach! (this is the good part and will post pictures soon)
Thursday morning Mary Elizabeth is not feeling well. I cut my thumb open on a rusty nail while digging in the sand (no tetanus shot since high school)!
Thursday afternoon driving home Mary Elizabeth starts running a fever and vomiting. We get the fever under control.
Thursday night (11pm) Mary Elizabeth's temperature goes from 99 to 105.2! We put everyone in the car and rush to Emergency room.
Argue with the ER doctor about what is wrong with her and the test prove we were right and he was wrong (had to say that!!) She has a severe Urinary Tract Infection. But they can not get her fever to break below 102, so they send us home with antibiotics.
Get home at 4:30am and go to bed!!
Mary Elizabeth continues to run a fever and vomiting all day.
Talked to my doctor and said I need to get a tetanus shot within 24 hours of being cut! OK, so I have 30 minutes to load everyone up and go to the local clinic! (Jason had to go to a meeting!)
Sitting in the clinic with Mary Elizabeth vomiting in a Wal-Mart bag in the corner, Harrison crying because he fell off the table where he was doing flips, Harper has pink and green marker all over her face and hands from coloring, and me the pregnant lady with a LITTLE cut on her finger! The Doctor just did not even know who to treat!!! I know they thought I was the worst mother in the world bringing everyone in the clinic with me and one even just got out of the hospital, but hey sometimes you just have to do thing when you have no other choice!!!
Mary Elizabeth continues to run a fever and vomiting until last night (Saturday), and my arms is numb from the shoulder to my elbow!
But today, PRAISE THE LORD, we are all well and doing much better!!!

Hopefully this week will be better!!

I know it will because Wednesday we find out if TooDee is a boy or girl, YEAH!!

TooDee is just growing and doing wonderful! I have started to feel movement and that has been exciting. I was telling the kids about the baby moving and hitting Mommy's belly when Harrison replied, "I will hit TooDee back if he hits my Mommy!".

I actually lost weight in week 15 because of food poison from our lake trip.

This week (17) I had the first stranger ask if I was expecting. This may not sound like a big deal to you, but to me it was a major moment in my life. This is a question that I never thought I would be asked!

At my last appointment I am up to 102 lbs, yeah!!!!

Lately the kids like to get down at my belly and talk to TooDee, I just love to listen to all the crazy things they say to their little brother/sister. Can't wait until all four are together!

Harrison started Taekwondo lessons and is doing really well!

We were not sure if he would even do it since this is the first time he has done something without Mary Elizabeth. (They may not be biological twins, but they are very much TWINS!)

He loves to practice and can't wait to go back to his class. Here are a few pictures of him showing off some of his moves!

I also think he looks so stinking cute in his little suit!!

I really have a hard time saying "NO" or disciplining this sweet face! He knows he can give me a smile and he can get anything he wants from his Mommy!

We go to find out if the kids will be getting a brother or a sister on August 19th!

We are very excited and can't wait! Of course Harrison wants a brother and the girls want a sister, but Jason and I really don't care! We plan on having more children (through another miracle pregnancy or adoption) so the gender is not that important! Just ready to have a name to call it other than TooDee, however Mary Elizabeth is stuck on this name!!

We will be keeping to our tradition of giving it a family name. If it is a boy it will name Bowen Henry after Jason's great-great grandfather and my grandfather, and called Bowen. If it is a girl it will be name Anna Louise after both Jason and my grandmothers, and be called Anna Louise (Mary Elizabeth can't be the only double name child in the family!!).

It is that time of the year and my kids are at that age where you sign up for extracurricular actives! I noticed it is a little harder for the girls to decide what to play or do than Harrison. The boys have all sports or Tae kwon do (what Harrison wants to do!) and that is about it. The girls can do all sports, Tae kwon do, cheer, gymnastics all kinds of dance, and many more options around here! We told them they have to choose one, since any cost times 3 is too much money!! But the girls have a hard time deciding if they want to play soccer or take ballet! Well the other day they had been playing dress up and then decided to go outside to play and this is what I found them doing...

I thought to myself, "This would solve all my girls problems, have a girls soccer team that plays in tutus!!" They just looked too cute!

By the way they did decide that this year they want to take ballet!

We have enough kids at our house to have our own soccer team and the girls can play in tutus if they want too!!!

Monday marked the 2 year anniversary of the day Harper was placed in or arms forever!

Our lives and family has never been filled with so much JOY!

This is a picture we received of Harper right before we traveled to Brazil to get her, she was 3 1/2 years old.

We had a great weekend at the Lake with Jason's family.

We did lots of boating, swimming, and eating - which lead to 5 out of 11 people going home with food poison. Jason, Harper, and myself all got it! Not sure what was bad since there was so much food there. But we are all doing better now and are just thankful it was not worse (but I think I lost the 4 pounds I gained with the pregnancy!!).

We had stopped at a fruit stand on the side of the road to buy some peaches and watermelons. We picked out our fruit and the kids and I loaded them in the truck. As I was buckling everyone back in, Jason was talking with the farmer who ran the fruit stand. The kids and I sat in the truck for about 10 minutes when the girls asked why Daddy was talking soooooo loooong to that man. Harrison replied, "He is probably telling him about Jesus! He tells everyone about Jesus!"

What a great complement from a child to know that you love the Lord and want to tell everyone you meet about Him!

Shopping for Materinity Clothes

I am to the point in my pregnancy that I can no long wear any of my pants or shorts, but I am not quite big enough for maternity clothes yet. But I decided that I would go shopping and try to find something that would halfway fit, or would fit better than my pants! As I began trying clothes on I had to sit down and just cry!!! I know this sounds silly and very hormonal, but I can remember walking past maternity departments in the past and saying to myself, "that is one department I will never be able to shop in!". And now here I am not only shopping in this department but trying on maternity clothes and they are actually fitting! So after I had myself a good cry, I paid for my new clothes and headed to the next store, only to have to sit down and cry again!!

After an emotional day I came home with several pants, shorts, tops, and dresses!!

I also came home so thankful for this journey God has brought me on, and look forward to the journey ahead!
