Visiting with the Ray's...

The kid and I got to visit with the Ray's yesterday at their home. The Ray's are two of the sweetest people who go to our church. They immediately fell in love with our kids from day one, and our kids think are extra special! They have a beautiful home on a pond, so the kids enjoyed many outdoor activities. Here are a few pictures of our afternoon.
The kids feeding the ducks.
Going for a ride in the wagon.
Harrison and Mr. Ray caught a fish.
and another fish.
The girls splashing the water.
Going on a boat ride.
The kids finally just got in the pond!!
Mrs. Ray swinging the girls.
A sweet picture of Mary Elizabeth by the pond.
We have so many people who have taken us in as part of their family since we live so far from our own family.
We love our church family!!

Alabama Football

Our family loves football!!
We have been Georgia fans all of our lives, even when we lived in Kentucky we stayed true Bulldog fans. But since we have moved to Alabama I have fallen in love with everything here including the football (I mostly think the color is pretty). So, since we are living here I thought I would get Harrison a shirt and hat. However, he quickly told me that he did not like Alabama he liked Georgia Bulldogs!
Here is my little future GA or AL football player. You can see how happy he is in his new shirt and hat!

New Look...

For those of you that know me well, know that I do not like to keep the same hair style for long. I have been coloring my hair since I was 15 years old. It has been a variety of colors, but I have always kept some blond. Well last week I was ready for a new look (style and color) and decided that I was ready to get rid of the blond.
Here are 2 pictures of before...

And here I am after...
Jason said he likes it (he usually likes anything I do with my hair), but had to get used to it. Mary Elizabeth and Harper both said "Mommie you look preddy!"
Harrison said "Mommie it does not look lovely, I don't like it!" Then he said "you should have red and look like Spiderman!".
I figure if no one likes it in a few days, I can always color it another color!!

Random things around our home...

There are many things around our home that reminds me how blessed I am to be a Mom.

Something the dogs drug up, but Harrison had to keep it!
Of course we have bad days! I always find treasures hidden behind curtains that the girls hid for me!

After a rain...

There is a creek that outlines our property, and there is not much water unless we get a good rain. Well we did this morning, and Jay wanted to take the kids down to show them the water. Yes, the girls still have on their PJ's!! No, I did not have on proper wading attire either!! Yes, we know that we could have gotten snake bit!! But we sure had a great time!!

We LOVE living in the country!!

Our Handsome Boy...

It anyone tells Harrison that he is cute he will quickly correct them by saying,
"I'm not cute, I am a cool Stud Man!"
